Best of British website with shopping cart goes live
We are pleased to announce that the Best of British website went live today.
The website has a content management system which allows the magazine owners to add articles and information about their nostalgia and heritage magazine. There is a stop-press news section on the home page.
Visitors may register to become members of the site and upload their "Memories" and stories for possible publication on the site. Permissions are set so that a moderator must approve these before they go live.
There is also a "directory" page which allows two levels of listing. Paid entires are assigned a dedicated page to give further details about their company and they have a web link to their own website. Unpaid entires are given a line entry listing contact details.
A secure shopping cart allows the sale of subscriptions, back-issues and books, CDs and gifts on a heritage theme.
